Position Summary

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver individualized treatment programs that improve strength, mobility, function, and overall quality of life. You'll play a vital role in helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals while providing encouragement, education, and compassionate care throughout their recovery journey. Primary Responsibilities Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional activities Monitor patient progress and communicate clinical observations Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention Maintain accurate and timely documentation Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure outstanding patient care Foster a positive, motivating environment that encourages patient success

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program Current Wyoming PTA license (or eligibility to obtain prior to employment) Completion of all required clinical internships Strong communication and interpersonal skills Passion for patient-centered care Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and continuous learning Why Cheyenne? Requirements

Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program with a current or obtainable Wyoming PTA license. Requires completion of all clinical internships and strong interpersonal skills.
