This is an incredible opportunity to build a specialty service within a thriving, collaborative, and well-supported network across the greater Pittsburgh market.

You'll have the unique ability to shape a new service offering while stepping into a market with a strong, existing oncology caseload and a robust referral base.

Our team includes three board-certified Oncologists across the Pittsburgh area.

You’ll be joining a tight-knit group with access to strong internal support, including: 7 criticalists across Pittsburgh locations House officer program with rotating interns, ECC interns and residents, and surgical interns and residents On-site and regional specialists providing collaborative, cross-disciplinary patient care About BluePearl Pet Hospital – Pittsburgh South (Washington, PA) Formerly known as Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Center (PVSEC), our 13,500-square-foot hospital opened in 2017 and is fully equipped as both an emergency animal hospital and a center for advanced specialty care.

Current specialties include: Emergency medicine Urgency Care Critical care Internal medicine Ophthalmology Radiology Surgery Advanced diagnostics and treatment offerings: 64-slice CT scanner Two ultrasound machines Video endoscopy Digital radiography Dedicated endoscopy and ultrasound suites Comprehensive in-house laboratory Full-service pharmacy On-site veterinary social worker for associate and client support The South location is conveniently located in Washington, PA, serving southern Pittsburgh suburbs and nearby communities.

Our sister hospitals—BluePearl Pet Hospital North Hills and BluePearl Monroeville—offer support and services such as 24/7 emergency medicine, advanced MRI, and additional specialties including cardiology, neurology, dermatology, radiation oncology, and more.
