We provide skilled nursing care through Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) while our Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Medical Assistants (MAs) deliver essential support services. Our Certified Medication Technicians (CMTs) provide medication administration. To uphold the highest standards of care, all of our staff are thoroughly vetted through reference checks, background screenings, and drug testing.

Assisting patients with activities of daily living, such as meal delivery and bedpan application · Assisting patients and ensuring their hygiene · Recording and monitoring of patient vital signs · Providing patients with general adjunct care · Responding to patient calls and determining the best course of action to take to assist them

Key Responsibilities Safety

  • Protect clients from accidents. Provide a clean and safe environment by ensuring that there are no obstacles. Maintaining a neat living area for client. This means light housekeeping chores are required. The client’s eating, sleeping, and sitting areas are to be kept clean and tidy. Provide attentive stand-by assistance as needed.
  • Emergency care: Abdominal thrust (Heimlich maneuver). CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation), wound skin precautions. First Aid.
  • Hygiene and grooming: Mouth care, bathing, perinea care, hair combing, fingernail care, shaving, dressing and undressing, keep bed neat and clean. (Provide or assist with
  • ADL’s activities of daily living)

  • Needs: Positioning skills, range of motion, assistance with transfers, assist with ambulation, assist with durable medical equipment, i.e., wheelchair, walkers, cane, hospital bed with side rails, Hoyer lift.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Nutrition

  • Prepare nutritional meals, feed or assist with meals and snacks. May be required tp prepare special dietary meals as needed.
  • Elimination needs: Assist with bedpan and or bedside commode, change Depends/diapers, provide routine Foley catheter care, give enema if needed, make sure client is kept clean and dry if incontinent of bowel and or bladder. The nursing assistant will keep family and agency aware of any significant changes with client. The nursing assistant is required to keep notes on all cases. The notes will be left on the premises. The nursing assistant must practice good hand washing techniques. The family will supply gloves etc. as needed. · THE NURSING ASSISTANT MAY BE ASKED TO ACCOMPANY CLIENTS TO Doctor’s appointments etc. They may be asked to drive. Verify with the office that a liability waiver has been signed before driving.

Requirements

Candidates must be Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) capable of performing emergency care and mobility assistance. Must pass background screenings, drug testing, and reference checks.
