We are looking for a licensed Physical Therapist to join our practice and provide therapy and rehabilitation services to patients in our facility. We currently have 5 PTs on staff all of which have been with us for 12+ years due to our positive, progressive work environment. · Perform initial and ongoing physical therapy evaluations according to APTA standards of practice as well as state standards · Develop a plan of treatment for each patient based on initial and ongoing evaluations including short and long-term goals, collaborating with other staff members, and required patient and caregiver involvement · Document patient progress according to approved medical documentation and facility documentation procedures · Evaluate mobility, strength and current level of patient function, while setting goals to improve in these areas that are scaled to patient abilities and realistically attainable · Keep track of patient progress, and report progress to patient, caregivers and loved ones, as well as facility staff and healthcare providers as needed · Develop a plan for patients following completion of their plan of treatment · Assist staff members to provide a safe, clean, effective environment
· MPT, or DPT degree required. New graduates are welcome, but must have interest in manual course work, or willingness to learn and practice in MFR (Myofascial Release) . Interest in learning, developing or using your skills in manual therapy with a varied patient load. · Current or acquiring Pennsylvania Physical Therapy license for state of operation · Ability to work with patients aged 10 years and up · Ability to work with 2- patients per hour · Can commit to a flexible work schedule of 4 days and 3 evenings (no weekends and off Friday at 2) .
