The Iowa River Landing Clinic is seeking a 100%25 Imaging Technologist.
Perform and teach specialized diagnostic and research imaging and spectroscopic procedures utilizing complex imaging equipment with close patient monitoring during exam.
Position Responsibilities: Imaging Technologist with primary duties in multiple modalities, including CT, General Diagnostic Radiography, and Mammography.
Utilizing complex imaging equipment with close patient monitoring during exam.
Perform radiography procedures using a variety of imaging equipment with close patient monitoring.
This includes independent operation with minimal physician supervision.
Provides instruction to trainees, medical staff and students on operational safety precautions.
Establish rapport with patient and provide information about how the exam is performed and what is required of the patient Has knowledge and understanding of key Service Excellence principles of interactions with patient and staff.
Utilize standard safety precautions to minimize or eliminate risk to patients, personnel and equipment.
Prepare and administer contrast material to patients under radiologist’s supervision as required Maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students and the public Additional duties as assigned.
Percent of Time: 100%25 Schedule: 40 hours/week will be accomplished Monday – Thursday, 7:00am – 8:30pm and Friday, 7:00am - 5:30pm.
This position will be part of the weekend, evening, and holiday rotations.
Saturday coverage rotation: 8:00am – 12:30pm.
