We are looking for a Family Engagement Specialist to join our team!

As a Family Engagement Specialist, you will be responsible for facilitating family meetings and providing in-home support to strengthen families in their homes.
You will coach parents to have safe and nurturing time with their children who are placed in DCF custody, and support them to meet the needs of their children in the moment.
You will also call extended family members to explore familial support and create genograms.
While we work closely with Department of Children and Families - Family Services Division, we have our own separate and comfortable offices!
We are searching for candidates who understand the complex issues facing families including past trauma, substance use disorders, domestic violence, mental health issues and generational poverty.
Extensive training and supervision are provided.
Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday. We are hoping for flexibility to support parents’ individual schedules. We support a healthy work/life balance in this job.
Starting $20 hourly. Additional compensation is based upon degree in a related field ($20.50 for Associate’s degree; $21.00 for Bachelor’s degree; $22.50 for Master’s degree).

A Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field and two years of experience are preferred. Candidates must have a valid driver's license, a reliable insured vehicle, and the ability to pass a background check.
