The Patient Care Partner works under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver direct and supportive patient care. This role assists with activities of daily living, patient mobility, specimen collection, vital sign monitoring, and other clinical and non-clinical duties that contribute to outstanding patient outcomes and experiences.

Must be able to safely assist with patient lifting, positioning, and transfers utilizing Safe Patient Handling equipment when appropriate.
Must maintain competency in caring for diverse patient populations, considering physical, communication, nutritional, psychosocial, and safety needs.
Must comply with all hospital and nursing department policies and procedures.

Requires a High School Diploma or GED and either a CNA certification, one year of nurse aide experience, or current enrollment in a nursing program. Must be able to safely assist with patient lifting and transfers using specialized equipment.
