The Regional Float Medical Assistant provides patient care support to various ambulatory clinics within their regulatory scope of practice. As a regional float, assignment locations will vary depending on business need and may be within either Los Angeles or Orange County. Assignments will vary in length and can range from a few weeks to a few months, depending on the reason for supplemental coverage.
Minimum Requirements
High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
Medical Assistant diploma required.
A minimum of 3 years of back-office experience, preferred.
Experience in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Women’s Health, and Urgent Care is preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.
$26.00 - $30.55 hourly
Actual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. The range is subject to change. Candidates must have a Medical Assistant diploma and a valid BLS certification. A high school diploma, three years of back-office experience, and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish are preferred.
