The Registered Nurse is responsible for implementing, directing, and coordinating patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This includes treating physical and psychosocial changes unique to the patient population on the Telemetry/Observation unit.
The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for implementing, directing and coordinating the care of patients through the use of the nursing process: assessment, planning implementation and evaluation. Included is recognition and treatment of the physical and psychosocial changes unique to the age/population group served on the specific unit.
Requires graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and a valid Pennsylvania RN license, with a BSN preferred. CPR certification is required, and ACLS must be obtained within one year of start date for this unit.
