About the role

Provide specialized nutritional care and dietary management for infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Collaborate with the medical team to ensure optimal nutritional outcomes for NICU patients.

Role Overview Sodexo is seeking a full‑time NICU Dietitian to join the Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Children’s Hospital at Erlanger in Chattanooga, TN. This 58‑bed, high‑acuity NICU cares for extremely premature infants—some born as early as 22–24 weeks—supported by a comprehensive team of pediatric medical and surgical specialists. If you’re an experienced dietitian with a strong interest in NICU care and you're looking to make a meaningful impact in a leading regional pediatric center, we’d be excited to welcome you to our team. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) Credentials Requirement: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision

Requirements

Must be a qualified dietitian capable of working in a high-acuity hospital setting. Professional certification in nutrition is typically expected for this role.
