We are seeking Certified Nurse Midwifes to join one of the nation’s most integrated healthcare systems, with over 1,300 providers in Indianapolis, IN.
Highlights Community Health Network is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife, to join our OB ED team at Community Hospital Westfield located in Westfield, IN.
24-hour shifts Rotating weekend and holiday requirements Evaluation and management of pregnant patients >16 weeks gestation seeking urgent/emergent obstetrical care Evaluation and management of postpartum patients up to 6 weeks postpartum Ability to independently and rapidly identify and manage emergent obstetrical and postpartum issues based on current evidence-based practice Advance labor with AROM Rounding on postpartum patients and facilitating discharges Rounding on laboring patients at request of the attending Stand-by for precipitous vaginal deliveries Single, robust electronic medical record system (EPIC) Experience Expertise within the specialty of OB as a certified nurse-midwife is required Must have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience practicing as a certified nurse-midwife About Us Headquartered in Indianapolis, Community Health Network has been deeply committed to the communities it serves since opening its first hospital, Community Hospital East, in 1956.
