Counselor Federal Program (LSW/LPC/LISW/LPCC) Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in social work or master's degree in counseling, or marriage and family therapy required.
  • Valid State of Ohio LCDC II, LCDC III, LPC, LSW, LISW, LPCC with two (2) years of paid full-time experience in the field of chemical dependency, mental health or adolescent treatment, or equivalent required.

Unique opportunity to join Maryhaven, Central Ohio’s largest and most comprehensive behavioral services provider specializing in addiction recovery.

We are looking for skilled, talented, and compassionate people to join our team!

Under the direction of the Federal Program department, candidate is responsible for substance use and mental health counseling, case management and treatment planning for clients who have been referred to Maryhaven for treatment.

The candidate must complete day-to-day service documentation as required and maintain effective communication while engaging clients in services.
