The Experienced Patient Care Technician (PCT) assists registered nurses in providing dialysis treatment for the End-Stage Kidney Disease (“ESKD”) patient in accordance with federal, state and local regulations. An Experienced PCT—ICHD is proficient in all intermediate duties while they recommend dialysis plans for ultrafiltration to registered nurses and reinforce education to patients as initiated by licensed nurse.
PCTs expected shifts for this clinic: 3-4 days/week with a minimum of two Saturdays/month and can be asked to start as early as 4:00 am
Rotating Schedule of 3 to 4 day work weeks, including rotating Saturday’s with Sunday off
Must be flexible to work early morning and late evening hours, starting and ending times can range from 3:30 am to 8:00 pm.
Hours of work may vary during the training period; however, you will typically be working between 32-40 hours per week during training
You must have a flexible schedule and be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
