Our rehab team at Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista is eager to welcome an Inpatient Physical Therapist to their tight-knit department. You will partner closely with other rehab disciplines to provide a collaborative approach to patient care. The ideal candidate is passionate about learning and excited to make a difference in this southern San Diego community. The Physical Therapist (inpatient) provides Physical Therapy evaluation, assessment, prognosis, treatment and education as prescribed by qualified medical practitioner in accordance with the Physical Therapy Practice Act and Title 16 requirements. $4K New Hire Retention Incentive, $3K Relocation if moving from 100+ miles The following are not eligible for hiring incentives:​ Internal candidates​ Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago​ In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met​ Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)​ Must remain in original department/specialty​ Must remain in original Job Title​ Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Requirements

· Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy · Licensed as a PT in the State of California or Pending CA PT license (must have license in hand by start) · Current BLS Certificate Preferred Experience: · Physical therapy manual therapy skills
