The CT Technologist provides quality diagnostic images and supports Radiologists during therapeutic procedures. They are also responsible for the processing and transmission of images to the PACS system.
The CT Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality images. The CT Technologist works in support of the Radiologist, providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is required. Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment is required. Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required. Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State. CT/R ARRT Certification is required. This compensation estimate is specific to California and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
Candidates must have at least one year of acute clinical radiology experience and hold CT/R ARRT certification. A current BLS certificate and state-required radiology and fluoroscopy permits are also mandatory.
