About the role

Responsible for obtaining high-quality diagnostic radiographic images while adhering to departmental standards and protocols. The role also involves supervising students during clinical rotations and ensuring patient safety and confidentiality.

Overview Responsible for obtaining Radiographic Images of diagnostic quality while adhering to departmental standards and protocols. Collaborates with other professionals in and out of the Hospital to ensure effective, efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired outcomes. Responsible for supervising students during clinical rotations.

Responsibilities

  • Competently performs all Radiographic procedures without requiring constant supervision.
  • Assumes responsibility for patient care, safety and comfort.
  • Creatively and ingeniously obtains Radiographic images, while adhering to DepartmentalStandards.
  • Professionally maintains patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA Standards.
  • Zealously assures that all procedures are properly ordered, verified and acknowledged.
  • Properly identifies patient before procedures.
  • Gladly accepts responsibility of teaching and working with students.
  • Completes annually defined position competencies.
  • Willingly performs other duties as required.
  • Maintains credentials for personal ARRT Certification

Qualifications

Education Required: Associates in Radiology License, Certification and/or Registration: ARRT Certification BLS Certification

Requirements

Requires an Associate degree in Radiology along with ARRT and BLS certifications. Candidates must be able to perform radiographic procedures independently and maintain professional credentials.
