We boast 6 labs that do Emergent and Elective cardiac procedures including Structural heart, Electrophysiology and Peripheral procedures.
24 bed recovery area for prep and recovery of all inpatients and outpatients while also having the flexibility to do the following procedures: TEE, Cardioversion and loop recorder implants.
High quality, high volume, efficient and high functioning critical care team of nurses and registered cardiovascular specialists (RCIS/RCES) that care for all cardiac patients.
STEMIs (ST elevation myocardial infarctions) we average over 180/year.
Approximately 1200 PCIs (percutaneous coronary intervention)/year.
Overall, 90% of cath procedures are radial.

Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella.
MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
Requires an active Michigan Registered Nurse license and BCLS and ACLS certifications. Candidates must have previous experience in a Cardiac Cath lab or at least one year of critical care experience.
