Corewell Health Medical Group is seeking a BE/BC Gastroenterologist for a full-time position.

Our team offers a broad array of services in gastroenterology, supports trainee education, and participates in research and clinical trials.

High volume interventional service having performed more than 6,000 cases in 2025, each provider averaging 10-12 cases per day Regional quaternary referral center in addition to broad established referral base throughout Michigan and beyond Cases performed in Grand Rapids busy hospitals of Butterworth and Blodgett Multiple additional endoscopy sites in the surrounding region Associated Inflammatory bowel diseases and Hepatology program Collaborative team-based approach to care Teaching and research opportunities available Work in conjunction with other subspecialists Must be proficient in EUS, ERCP, advanced tissue resection and luminal intervention Not required, but have a market for: third space endoscopy, POEM, endobariatrics The practice involves full time interventional endoscopy, with equitable night General GI call (1 in 18) Weekend call (1 in 8) Daytime (8a-5p) interventional call is 1 in 5 (regular hours, but covers inpatients and urgents only) Outpatient work includes weekly office Compensation Package: Malpractice insurance, health, dental, disability and life insurance.

Requirements

Candidates must be board eligible or board certified in Gastroenterology and hold a Michigan medical license. Proficiency in specific endoscopic procedures is required, with additional skills preferred.
