About the role

Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for adult patients within a team-based outpatient model. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and supervise Advanced Practice Providers to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

A well-established and busy outpatient Internal Medicine practice located at 4069 Lake Drive SE in Grand Rapids, Michigan is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to join a highly collaborative and patient-focused team. This vibrant practice cares for adult patients across the continuum and offers a strong, team-based care model. The current group includes 5 physicians and 4 advanced practice providers, supported by integrated resources such as Behavioral Health, Pharmacists, and Care Managers—allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality, comprehensive care. Position Highlights 100% outpatient Internal Medicine practice Established patient panel with strong community demand Team-based care model with interdisciplinary support Collegial, collaborative physician environment Opportunity to build long-term patient relationships Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for adult patients Assess and monitor the medical needs of patients and their families Deliver care in a cost-effective, evidence-based, and patient-centered manner Ensure appropriate coverage and continuity of care for patient panels Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care and improve outcomes Provide supervision and oversight of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) Participate in patient and family education to support wellness and chronic disease management Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical process enhancements Support organizational goals related to patient satisfaction and financial stewardship Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary with productivity-based incentive opportunities Starting bonus and relocation assistance available (where applicable) Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage Retirement savings plan with employer contribution and match Generous paid time off, including vacation, holidays, and CME time CME allowance to support ongoing professional development Malpractice insurance with tail coverage provided Licensure, board certification, and professional membership support

Requirements
