Qualifications

Required master’s degree or Doctor of Nursing (DNP) or Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice (DNAP) from an accredited nurse anesthesia program. LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan required. Experience working independently required. Experience and comfort with peripheral nerve blocks, neuraxial techniques, OB/GYN cases, and pediatric anesthesia required. Case logs demonstrating experience in peripheral nerve blocks, neuraxial techniques, OB/GYN cases, and pediatric anesthesia required; letter(s) of recommendation acknowledging skills in peripheral nerve blocks, neuraxial techniques, OB/GYN cases, and pediatric anesthesia also preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and 4,000 clinical hours required. Big Rapids Hospital maintains a level IV trauma designation and is a TJC Comprehensive Stroke Center.
