About the role

The Physiatrist will provide general PM&R services, focusing on stroke, traumatic brain injury, orthopedics, and neurology treatments. Responsibilities include managing outpatient services such as EMGs and pain management, while providing inpatient coverage for specific campuses.

Franciscan Health Dyer Campus 24 Joliet St Dyer, Indiana 46311 WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a full-time Board Eligible/Board Certified Physiatrist to meet the growing demand for services at our Franciscan Health Crown Point in Crown Point, IN with outreach to Munster and Dyer.

WHAT WE NEED: Provider will see procedures consisting of general PM&R, stroke, traumatic brain injury, orthopedics, and neurology treatments.

Ideal candidate will have a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.

Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and build long-lasting relationships with patients.

Candidate will work collaboratively with our talented team of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation providers to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT: Flexible Schedule: Monday – Friday, 36 patient contact hours with 4 hours of admin work Weekend Call & Rounding Rotation: 1:4 Inpatient coverage in Crown Point with outreach to Dyer and Munster Future Outpatient/Ambulatory focus will be: EMGs Botox- Spasticity & Migraine Management Pain Management/Interventions Prosthetics & Orthotics Well-established practice Experienced clinical support staff If physician has a collaborative agreement with the APP, outreach will include Michigan City referrals - remote review of EPIC charts only

Qualifications

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Doctorate and a Physician License (MD/DO), with Board Certification or eligibility in Physiatry. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required upon hire.
