This position assists in the training of students and technologists in Mammography.

00p - 8:00p Assume responsibility for self-development, and keep current on the latest technology/techniques. Clean, maintain, and restock examination and inventory rooms. Collaborate on patient medical issues with the physician to determine protocol and procedure. Complete all mammography, bone density, breast ultrasound exams, and procedures. Identify optimal images, and evaluate and submit for physician review. Confirm patient identification, and obtain and records patient identification. Review and update patient documentation in EMR/PACS. Practice established safety and quality guidelines (MASA/ARC), and utilize ALARA radiation reduction tools and techniques.
Preferred Associate's Degree Radiology Required Professional/Vocational/Trade Training Radiology 1 year Mammography Preferred New Graduate of Radiology/Mammography Program Preferred Radiology/Imaging Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association Radiology Technologist License (RADTECH) - State Licensing Board As required by State American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification - . Requires a Radiology Technologist License, ARRT certification, and Mammography (ARRT-M) certification. An associate's degree in Radiology and BLS certification from the American Heart Association are preferred.
