Housekeeper

Responsible for housekeeping of assigned wing rooms, common areas, and assisting the needs of the residents.

Part Time - shift time for this position is 7 a.m. - 3 p.m.

The starting pay for this position is $15.00

Job Duties

• Be ethical, respectful, responsive, reliable, authentic, innovative and empathetic.
• Follow cleaning schedule established by the Director of Housekeeping for that day.
• Clean assigned areas, furnishings, fixtures, movable and stationary furniture.
• Empty trash bins and clean bathroom showers, sinks, toilets.
• Vacuuming carpets in rooms, common areas, and hallways.
• Disinfect floors, walls, bathrooms; Wash windows and furniture.
• Replenish bathroom supplies and toiletries for residents.
• Dusting and sanitizing surfaces such as baseboards, stairways, elevators, entrances and exits.
• Reporting supply and equipment needs to the Housekeeping Director.
• Stripping beds and reapplying residents sheets to bed
• Laundry for the bed sheets and residents clothes.
• Observations of residents and report of changes in level of care or behavior to the CMT on that floor.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping in a senior living facility preferred
• Must be flexible to work up to a every other weekend and every other holiday
