We’re currently seeking a Medical Assistant (MA, CMA, RMA) to join our Occupational Health and Rehabilitation department. This is a dual role that required both clinical and admin duties.
Responsible for a variety of patient care functions under the direction of physicians and mid-level providers.
Greets & escorts patient to exam room.
Obtains & records vital signs into the Electronic Medical Record.
Maintains a safe & clean environment for the patient.
Maintains equipment & supplies.
Maintains effective interpersonal relationships with patients, families & coworkers.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
Requires a diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program or certification as a CNA, EMT, or Paramedic. A BLS provider credential from the American Heart Association must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
