Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist at Southeast Health in Dothan, AL. Rounding with out of house call from home ASAP Start up to 15 shifts per month Coverage Includes: 6-bed inpatient pediatric floor ED consults Newborn couplet care (with NNP support) No nursery call or rounds—NICU coverage is separate Subspecialty Support: Pediatric Pulmonology, Endocrinology, and Cardiology on-site Pediatric Ortho and Surgery (adult) Access to UAB subspecialists for consults
BC Pediatrics AL license required or IMLC Minimum 1 Year experience Benefits and Compensation Pediatrix does cover per diem staff travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice. This position is W-2. *Our benefits include for Per Diem members: Employee Assistance Malpractice Insurance, Plus tail coverage. PTO: Per diem team members are not eligible for PTO Holidays: Per Diem team members are not eligible for company holidays. Must be Board Certified in Pediatrics with a minimum of one year of experience. An Alabama medical license or IMLC is required.
