Overview Diversified Treatment Alternative Centers (DTAC) is opening a new female residential behavioral health facility in Cranberry Township, PA and is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Professional to join our clinical team. This role offers the opportunity to provide trauma-informed, evidence-based care to adolescents in a structured environment focused on healing, growth, and long-term success.

Position Summary

The Mental Health Professional provides assessment, individual and group therapy, and treatment planning for youth in a residential setting. This role plays a key part in developing effective therapeutic interventions that support emotional stability, behavioral growth, and improved outcomes.

Key Responsibilities Conduct clinical assessments and provide diagnostic impressions Provide individual and group therapy services Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans Facilitate therapeutic and psychoeducational groups Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including assessments and progress notes Communicate clinical updates to treatment teams, families, and referral sources Support the safety and structure of the residential environment Participate in therapeutic activities and programming Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members Attend staff meetings, supervision, and ongoing training

Qualifications

Required: Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field Minimum of 3 years experience in child or adolescent behavioral health Licensed as LCSW, LPC, LMFT in Pennsylvania within your scope of practice Strong communication, documentation, and clinical assessment skills Preferred: Experience in residential or intensive treatment settings Knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices Experience facilitating group therapy and psychoeducational interventions

Ability to work in a residential treatment environment Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive care Strong collaboration and teamwork skills Reliable transportation and ability to commute to Cranberry Township, PA
