Provide therapy services to patients and families with a primary focus on group therapy within a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include case management, developing treatment plans, and documenting patient progress in charts.
Responsible for providing therapy services to patients and their families as part of a multidisciplinary team with most emphasis on group therapy. Provides case management and follow up with patients, documents daily in the charts, assists in program development. Develops, implements and reviews treatment plans. Behavioral Health Therapist may work in inpatient, hospital outpatient, ambulatory settings. May be embedded in primary care or other specialty. Possible cross coverage for other areas. Minimum Requirements Master's degree in Social Work , Counseling (Clinical), and/or Marriage & Family Therapy, (may consider Master's in Psychology if full licensure as any of the above disciplines has been obtained).
North Carolina full licensure to practice as professional Social Worker (LCSW), Counselor (LCMHC), or Marriage& Family Therapist (LMFT).
Non-Violent Crises Intervention certification within 60 days of hire for all inpatient roles required.
