Perform various invasive and non-invasive ultrasound procedures, including doppler vascular examinations and deep abdominal studies. Assist with ultrasound-guided endovenous ablations for patients with reduced blood flow in lower extremities.
Perform invasive/non invasive ultrasound procedures, doppler vascular examinations, deep abdominal studies and color-flow ultrasound as required. Assist with performing Ultrasound guided endovenous ablations on lower extremeties of patients with reduced blood flow. Minimum Requirements High School plus 1 - 2 years of formal training/education is required - or higher. Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as Registered Vascular Sonographer required. Registered Vascular Sonographer could also earn ARRT through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support/CPR (BLS) certification required. 1 - 3 years ambulatory or hospital setting is required.
