The specialist identifies and engages prospective adoptive families for children whose parental rights have been terminated. This includes managing a caseload of children with special needs and implementing innovative recruitment strategies through media and community partners.
Bachelor’s degree in social work or related area of study from an accredited college or university required. Three years of experience in human services or child welfare programs. At least one year of adoption experience preferred. Valid driver’s license. Schedule & Hours Monday-Friday between the hours 8:00am-5:00pm (Hybrid schedule post training) Once the offered candidate accepts, they must complete the following: a Level II Background screening (Live Scan) in which your fingerprints will be used to conduct the screening.
