About the role

Provide speech therapy to patients based on medical direction and patient needs. Deliver education to patients and caregivers and arrange for necessary adaptive equipment.

About Butterworth Hospital Butterworth Hospital offers a wide range of advanced medical, surgical and specialty care services that allow the urban campus in downtown Grand Rapids to serve as a major tertiary and quaternary referral center for West Michigan and beyond.

These services include the only Regional Burn Center and Level I Trauma Center in West Michigan.

Butterworth Hospital is a clinical leader in cardiovascular, cancer, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics, neurosciences, trauma and emergency care services, among many others.

Scope of Work Provides therapy to patients based on patient need and medical direction.

Provides patient/caregiver education and arranges for adaptive equipment as needed.

Standard Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree Graduate of accredited speech therapy program Preferred Master's Degree Graduate of accredited speech therapy program Preferred Doctorate Graduate of accredited speech therapy program 2 years of relevant experience of related experience Required CRT-Speech Language Pathologist - ASHA American Speech-Language-Hearing Association 1 Year required LIC-Driver's License - STATE_MI State of Michigan Home Care Business Lines

Upon Hire required CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited speech therapy program, ASHA certification, and a Michigan driver's license. BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.
