Tasks limited to microtomy, embedding, staining. Performs and documents quality controls for all equipment and troubleshoots malfunctioning instrumentation as necessary. Understands maintenance, troubleshooting and operation of all instrumentation in assigned areas. Has minimal understanding of test principles.
