Market context

Michigan MSW roles need licensed experience

In Michigan, MSW social worker roles in healthcare are commonly tied to patient discharge planning, care coordination, and support for complex medical and social needs, so employers often look for candidates with direct post-degree healthcare experience. These positions can be competitive because a master’s degree, a valid Michigan driver’s license, and a preferred Michigan MSW license narrow the applicant pool. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save time, then confirm your licensure status and prepare examples of healthcare casework before applying.
