Position

Patient Care Technician (PCT) - Dialysis (ICHD)

Schedule: Three 12‑Hour Shifts Per Week (Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday)

Requirement

  • Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) certification required.
  • Willing to float between local clinics if needed.

DaVita is hiring a Experienced Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. As a PCT, you’ll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
  • Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
  • Record vital signs and patient data
  • Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
  • Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members

Qualifications

  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience as a PCT preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in Dialysis, In-Center Hemodialysis (ICHD) preferred.
  • Accredited High School diploma, general education development (“GED”) credential, or equivalent.
  • Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment.
  • Physically able to work long shifts on your feet.
  • Willing to float between local clinics if needed.
  • Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience.
