24-bed unit, with a MICU and SICU wing, operated on a 24-hour basis. This nursing area provides care to adult patients. Admission diagnoses include but are not limited to acute MI/ACS, heart failure, lethal dysrhythmias, acute respiratory failure, shock, acute neurological disorders and high risk or complicated post-operative patients requiring specialized monitoring and care. This unit also provides care to open heart patients, from the immediate post-operative period through IMC level of care until discharge.
