The Infusion Nurse provides primary patient care, including assessments and education for patients receiving infusion therapy in home or alternate settings. Description Soleo Health is seeking a Per Diem Infusion Nurse to support our infusion patients in Monroeville, AL and surrounding areas . Join us in Simplifying Complex Care!
Must be able to work
Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm, variable schedule to include days, afternoons, evenings, weekends as needed- variable schedule - Per Diem 8-24 hours per week Must be able to participate in an on-call rotation one weekend every 10th weekend Must be able to drive your own properly registered/insured vehicle up to 2 hours one direction to see patients as needed Must be knowledgeable of and have used the following
IV access devices to include: IV lines, accessing ports, and administration of infusion medications Must be licensed as an RN in the state of Alabama - in good standing
Current RN license by the applicable state’s Board of Nursing, in good standing. RN degree, bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution preferred Advanced certification in specialty areas of practice (e.g., CRNI, ONS, IgRN) preferred but not required. Participation in an on-call rotation, nights and weekends included, providing as-needed support outside of regular business hours to address urgent issues and ensure continuous operations. Administrative Oversight: Responsible for providing administrative oversight, including monitoring of workflows, ensuring compliance with policies, and managing resources efficiently to meet organizational objectives. Emergency Availability: Must be available to respond promptly to emergencies, ensuring rapid and effective resolution of issues to minimize impact on operations. Availability during non-standard hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by the nature of the emergency. Minimum 3 years nursing experience with background in infusion therapy preferred. Experience in ICU and/or Cardiac Care preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite. Valid state issued driver’s license with no significant restrictions on that license.
