Position Summary

The Roberts Lab at the University of Maryland Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center (UMGCCC) is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow or Research Scientist with expertise in B cell biology and biochemistry. Experience with proximity labeling experiments and proteomic analysis is preferred. This position is part of a dynamic research program focused on investigating mechanisms of B cell receptor endocytosis. Key Responsibilities: Design experiments for proximity labeling and proteomic analysis from mass spectrometry data Perform molecular cloning Conduct studies to follow up on proteins of interest identified in proteomic analysis using flow cytometry and advanced imaging techniques Collaborate with immunologists, oncologists, and bioengineers within the UMGCCC. Prepare data for manuscripts, grant applications, and conference presentations.

Required Qualifications

  • Ph.D. or equivalent in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Cancer Biology, or a related field. Strong molecular biology skills including cloning, PCR, and western blot. Evidence of productivity through publications in peer-reviewed journals.
