Facilitate psychoeducational and process groups for clients in Residential and Partial Hospitalization programs. Document client progress and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and mental health treatment.
CBH is seeking an experienced Group Facilitator to provide high-quality psychoeducational and process groups for clients in our Residential and Partial Hospitalization (PHP) programs. This position will work across both our Hollywood residential facility and Fort Lauderdale PHP program, facilitating engaging, evidence-based groups that support clients in their recovery and mental health treatment journey. We are seeking a clinician who is passionate about group therapy, skilled in client engagement, and experienced in behavioral health and/or substance use treatment settings.
Essential Responsibilities Facilitate psychoeducational, process, and recovery-focused groups for clients in residential and PHP levels of care.
Create a safe, supportive, and therapeutic group environment.
Document group participation and client progress according to program requirements.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team regarding client engagement and treatment progress.
Maintain compliance with all facility policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.
Utilize evidence-based interventions and curriculum when leading groups.
Manage group dynamics and effectively respond to behavioral or clinical concerns as they arise.
Required Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field. Minimum three (3) years of experience facilitating groups in a behavioral health, mental health, and/or substance use disorder treatment facility. Strong group facilitation, communication, and documentation skills. Experience working with adult clients in structured treatment settings. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Active Florida licensure as a LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or other applicable behavioral health license. Experience working in residential treatment and/or PHP settings. Knowledge of substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, trauma-informed care, and recovery-oriented treatment models.
