Sonographer

JOB TYPE Classification: Non Exempt Supervises Positions: JOB SUMMARY Work in concert with the radiologists to obtain high quality ultrasound images and provide exceptional patient care.
Education: High School Diploma or GED. Associate's Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred. Must meet the education requirement for diagnostic medical ultrasound certification with ARDMS or ARRT.
1 year experience in sonography preferred. Refer to the Life Support Training Policy for additional details.
Follows and supports OSHA regulations and uses universal precautions when required. Cleans examination surfaces between patients. Provides clean linen including sheets, gowns, pillowcases, and towels. Immediately cleans spills following universal precautions. Properly stores accessory equipment when not in use.
The base compensation range for this role is $38.96 - $54.54 hourly.
Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education. Please note that the pay range does not include any applicable incentive compensation programs such as shift differentials, clinical ladders, and other incentives that may be available for those in eligible positions.

Requires a High School Diploma or GED, with an Associate's Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred. ARDMS certification is required within the first year of employment, and one year of experience is preferred.
