Work Experience The University of Miami UHealth Emergency department has an exciting opportunity for a Per-diem Registered Nurse. The Registered Nurse delivers patient-family centered care in a culturally competent manner utilizing evidence-based standards of quality, safety, and service while ensuring population-specific patient care. The Registered Nurse oversees nurses and allied health staff in their daily practice.
Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, Bachelor’s degree (BSN) preferred. RNs hired with an Associates (ASN) degree have 2 years to complete the BSN degree. Certification and Licensing: Registered Nurse License; Basic Life Support Certification (American Heart Association), ACLS and PALS Experience: Minimum 2 years emergency nursing experience
Candidates must have a Registered Nurse license and at least 2 years of emergency nursing experience. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and PALS, with an ASN degree required and a BSN preferred.
