As a Therapist, you will provide therapeutic services to our residents to help them reach their highest potential in their daily living activities. You will assess each resident's physical, emotional, and cognitive needs, develop and implement personalized therapy programs, and work alongside the interdisciplinary team to ensure the best care. Your role will be integral in improving the quality of life for residents through physical, occupational, speech, or recreational therapy based on your specialty.
Degree in relevant therapy field.
State licensure in therapy field (if applicable).
1-3 years of experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Compassionate nature with a strong desire to improve the lives of residents.
Must have a valid associate number in AMFT (Marriage & Family Therapist. APCC Professional Counseling, or ACSW (Clinical Social Worker)
Must have a master's degree in psychology-related or social work-related majors.
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing.
Certifications or specializations relevant to the therapy discipline.
Experience with PointClickCare or other electronic medical record systems.
