Are you ready to work alongside some of the top surgeons in WI? Aurora West Allis Medical Center is looking to add a Surgical Technician to their team of surgical experts.
Pass instruments to some of the top Surgeons in the world.
Assist with gowning and gloving; preparation and draping of the surgical area, and provision of a sterile field.
Perform all types of procedures and maintains advanced knowledge of a variety of procedures.
Function as a First or Second Assistant as necessary. This includes, but is not limited to, holding retractors, cauterizing, application of surgical dressings and wound closure under the direct guidance of a surgeon.
Transport patients and/or equipment and supplies.
Maintain a specialty cart or item, ensuring its completeness and availability. This includes checking the working condition of equipment, sterility, and sending damaged items out for repair.
Act as a resource and precepts Surgical Technologists I and/or participates in department or facility committees or work teams.
