Medical Associates Cardiology/CV Surgery department is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant to join their team! Our accredited department is known for providing excellent patient care by building relationships that last. This team is looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented professional that’s willing to jump in and learn. Our skilled providers and support staff work together to provide specialized services, educate patients, and work across specialties on treatment plans.
Monday-Friday, 4 days a week, primarily 8:00am - 5:00pm, working about 76 hours per pay period. Flexibility is a must!
Education - Certification of Medical Assistant required.
Interpersonal Skills - A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or influencing others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary.
Other Skills - Keyboarding skills and use of electronic equipment. Use and operate a wide variety of diagnostic and medical equipment. Use personal protection safety equipment including gloves, lab coats, gowns, goggles, and face masks/shields. BLS required biannually.
Requires a Certified Medical Assistant certification and BLS certification. Prefers candidates with three months to one year of related experience and strong interpersonal skills.
