• Responsibilities: Continuous evaluation and monitoring of patients for signs of recovery or worsening of their condition Changing dressings, starting IV lines and inserting catheters Preparing medical equipment and maintaining supplies to be ready for immediate use Administering medication as directed by a physician or within the nurses’ own schedule of drugs Accurately reporting on patients’ progress to the other members of the care team, as well as to families and medical decision-makers Assisting doctors with monitoring and with bedside procedures performed in the progressive care unit
• Compensation: Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible) Pay package details provided upon offer

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Must have 5 year of MedSurg/PCU RN experience Must have ACLS certification Includes every other weekend rotation. This position also requires floating to other units (ED, MCH), if there is a need. Must be able to work independently and perform charge nurse duties. Must have current Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently. Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
• Compliance/Screening (Pre-Start): Drug screen and background check (facility required) Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned
