About the role

Administer and oversee physician-prescribed physical therapy treatments and therapeutic modalities to support patient recovery. Document patient progress and maintain therapy equipment while ensuring safe and effective care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

The Staff Pad has partnered with a prestigious healthcare organization in Hamilton, TX to find a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join their growing Physical Therapy team. In this role you will administer and oversee physician-prescribed physical therapy treatments and therapeutic modalities to support patient rehabilitation and recovery. What You'll Do Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides physician-directed therapy services by: Delivering physical therapy treatments according to prescribed plans and scheduled appointments Preparing, educating, and monitoring patients throughout treatment sessions to ensure safe and effective care Administering therapeutic exercises, physical agents, and ambulatory procedures while providing age-appropriate care in accordance with departmental policies Documenting treatments accurately and communicating patient progress to therapists, physicians, and leadership Maintaining therapy equipment through routine upkeep, cleaning, sanitization, storage, and minor preventive maintenance Additional Requirements Maintain patient confidentiality and provide exceptional patient service Communicate effectively with medical staff and other healthcare professionals Follow infection control, safety procedures, and Healthcare System policies Process daily therapy service charges What We Are Looking For

Qualifications

Requirements
