About the role

Overview Outpatient MAT Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) Join our team at Kent Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) as a Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant, where you’ll provide advanced nursing care that transforms lives and fosters recovery.

In this role, you’ll conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop personalized treatment plans, and prescribe medications as permitted by state regulations, all while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Guided by our Medical Director and Nurse Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in optimizing patient outcomes and ensuring the highest standards of care.

Our Team: Kent Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), located in Kent, WA is part of Acadia Healthcare's Comprehensive Treatment Centers, the leading provider of medication-assisted treatment in the nation.

Our team provides compassionate, high-quality counseling, therapy, medication, and guidance to patients seeking recovery from Opioid Use Disorder.

Age Group/Range: Adults Practice Setting/Type: Outpatient OTP Part-Time Schedule: 32 hours per week, ideally Mon-Thurs - 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM Compensation Range: $65-$75 per hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities

Makes a comprehensive physical assessment of patients consistent with training and education; Performs physical examinations on patients admitted for medication maintenance; Ensures physician medication orders are being followed. Refers patients to appropriate physicians and consults with the supervising physician; Evaluates patient care, adjusting the plan of care based on outcomes, diagnostic test results, and patient feedback; Provides patient and staff education on medication maintenance; Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, CARF Standards, and clinic policy and procedure; Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, from an accredited college or university Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), including methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone No history of alcohol or drug misuse for a period of three years before employment Licenses/Designations/Certifications: Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) Licensed to practice in the state of Washington DEA license. Requirements

Must be a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensed to practice in Washington with a DEA license. Requires familiarity with MAT medications and no history of substance misuse for the past three years.
