The PRN Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for conducting initial nursing assessments as needed and performing client reassessments as required to ensure safe, appropriate, and compliant care delivery. The RN must demonstrate strong clinical judgment, excellent documentation skills, and the ability to work independently in the field.

Current, active Virginia Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing Minimum 1 year of nursing experience preferred Home care experience preferred Experience with WellSky (or similar EMR system) is a plus Strong assessment, documentation, and organizational skills Ability to work independently Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license Willingness to travel to Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake Must have at least two years of nursing experience, including a minimum of one year in a supervisory or teaching role. Knowledge of home care principles, practices, and procedures. Valid driver’s license and proof of current PPD vaccination. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations.
Work occurs in diverse home settings and senior care facilities, requiring the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, walk, and climb stairs. Frequent independent travel within the service area of North Point Homecare is necessary.
Essential functions cannot be performed virtually and require attendance at designated work locations.
