About the role

The Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant is responsible for examining, planning, and administering physical therapy treatments to referred patients. They must communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff to ensure quality care.

Overview The Orthopaedic Center is looking for highly motivated Licensed Physical Therapy Assistants in our Huntsville, Athens, Ardmore, Decatur, Florence, New Market, Hampton Cove, and Madison offices. The Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant will examine, plan and administer physical therapy treatments to patients referred by appropriate professionals. Employee must be able to communicate effectively with patients, TOC physicians, and staff.

Qualifications

Education required: HS/GED. Must be a graduate from an accredited School of Physical Therapy program License: Must be CPR certified. Additional Skills/Abilities: Strong patient care and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure Outstanding organizational, time management and writing skills Ability to speak clearly and concisely Independent, self-starting and highly motivated Initiative and self-discipline Proven positive, "teamwork" attitude in work history About Us At The Orthopaedic Center, we are proud to be the region’s leading orthopaedic group, dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. Requirements

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited School of Physical Therapy program and hold a CPR certification. A high school diploma or GED is also required.
