Position Summary

Responsible for assisting the Radiation Oncologists, Registered Nurses and other Cancer Center staff with basic clinical and office functions to ensure a coordinated approach to oncology patient care activities. Works closely with nursing team and medical staff to ensure quality patient care in a timely manner

Required

  • High school diploma Graduate of approved program for Medical Assistant (MA) 3 yrs medical assistant experience CPR certified BLS certification Excellent customer/ patient relation skills Ability to communicate effectively and present self in a professional, courteous and tactful manner

Requirements

Requires a high school diploma, graduation from an approved Medical Assistant program, and 3 years of experience. Must hold CPR and BLS certifications.
