What you’ll do

As a Nurse at AMFM Healthcare, you will support our clients’ physical and mental wellness through hands-on clinical care and holistic treatment. You’ll work directly with clients and alongside an interdisciplinary care team to deliver excellent medical and therapeutic services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Observe patients, charting and reporting changes in patients' conditions, such as adverse reactions to medication or treatment, and taking any necessary action.
  • Essential nursing duties for clients, including but not limited to: 1. Managing prescribed medications, noting times and amounts on patients' charts. 2. Provide basic patient care or treatments, such as taking temperatures or blood pressures. 3. Sterilize equipment and supplies, using germicides, sterilizer, or autoclave. 4. Measure and record patients' vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
  • Work as part of a healthcare team to assess patient needs, plan and modify care, and implement interventions.
  • Maintain the integrity of the med/clinical record in the company
  • EHR system, including the following: 1. Making sure all medical documents are scanned in a timely manner 2. Medication Incident Reports are addressed promptly and correctly 3. Charts are audited for medical record completion and accuracy
  • Make appointments, keep records, and/or perform other clerical duties.
  • Inventory and requisition supplies, instruments and medications and medication samples.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient records and reports
  • Document client histories, progress and other pertinent information
  • Comprehend, help develop, educate, advise and implement policies and procedures related to infection surveillance, prevention, and control activities
  • Comprehend, help develop, educate, advise and implement policies and procedures related to Joint Commission areas of Medication Management and Infection Prevention and Control, and oversee the implementation by all staff of best practices in regards to National Patient Safety Goals.

Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted LPN license in Washington state.
  • Preferred: Minimum of 1 year working in a behavioral health or psychiatric environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-first, trauma-informed approach.
  • Working knowledge of clinical and medical terminology in behavioral healthcare.
  • Comfortable with EHR systems and basic administrative tools (Microsoft Office, GSuite, etc.).
  • Able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team-centered environment.
  • Commitment to patient confidentiality, safety, and ethical care.

Requirements
