Physician Assistant (Full-Time) – Orthopedics & Surgical Support
Multiple Locations in New Jersey & New York (Newark, Elizabeth, Trenton, Clifton, Lumberton, Perth Amboy, Bronx)
Hours: 25-35 hours per week
We are New Jersey's premier multi-specialty practice, offering comprehensive musculoskeletal care across Orthopedics, Pain Management, Spine, Foot and Ankle, and Neurology. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to join our expanding healthcare team. This position offers a dynamic mix of surgical and clinical responsibilities and is an exclusive role for our practice. You will provide direct patient care, support surgical procedures, and ensure our patients receive excellent orthopedic and pain management services.
Responsibilities: · Conduct patient evaluations, discussing symptoms and conducting comprehensive physical examinations
· Order and interpret diagnostic tests (x-rays, lab tests) and develop appropriate treatment plans
· Assist physicians in the operating room, supporting both surgical and administrative tasks
· Treat minor injuries and illnesses, administer medications, and ensure comprehensive patient care
· Transcribe and maintain thorough records of all patient encounters, examinations, and treatment plans
· Communicate with patients on treatment progress, schedule follow-ups, and provide compassionate patient support
· Collaborate closely with a dedicated healthcare team to deliver outstanding patient care and help patients return to their normal activities as quickly as possible
Preferred Experience: · Previous experience in Orthopedics, Surgery, and Patient Evaluation
· Proficiency in treating and evaluating patients in both office and clinical settings
· Knowledge of medical guidelines and procedures related to examinations, therapies, and recovery
Qualifications: and Skills:
· Proven experience as a Physician Assistant in a related field
· Knowledgeable in the latest advancements in medical technology and orthopedic treatments
· Excellent problem-solving abilities with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
· Compassionate and caring demeanor with strong communication skills
